Comfort Measures and Affirmations

$2.00

Here are some general ideas for comfort measures throughout the labor and birth process. Just as we are all individuals, we may appreciate different comfort measures at different times. We may want them all, or there may be some that we simply don’t enjoy. Your role as the birth partner is to tune in to the needs of the birthing person, and to take initiative and offer comfort measures you think might be helpful at any given moment. If the birthing person doesn’t like a specific comfort measure that was offered, that’s ok! Totally normal… just move on to the next one and follow their lead.
